"I would probably have never written this songbook had it not been for the encouragement and cajoling of my friends and fellow songwriters.  I have enjoyed writing the songs - or should I say I have enjoyed the end results.  Waking up in the middle of the night with a melody buzzing around your head or the line of a song that wont go away, has lost its appeal.
